Canaan Town Charter and Library Charter

Collection Description:
The Book of Charter dated 1761 with surveys of land for the Town of Canaan went through deacidification and buffering and was encapsulated for future preservation. It was also scanned in a PDF that will be available to our citizens. The second project was the 1804 Incorporation of the Canaan Library. The original is restored and is stored in the Town Vault. A digitized copy will be on display in the Library.
