Newmarket Town Records 1914-1942

Collection Description:
Three leather bound volumes of historical Newmarket town records for the period 1914-1942 have been beautifully preserved. Prior to restoration, document was a single book of 792 pages of records that had actually survived a 1987 Town Hall fire. Documents were in very poor & fragile condition (e.g. tears, tape, staples & clips rusted to paper, some ink damage). These preserved records are now available in the Town Clerk\'s office for public viewing/research.
